The Fixed Bed Evaluation Unit is an experimental device designed to evaluate the performance of a wide range of fixed bed processes. It has multiple channels that allow for simultaneous testing and evaluation of multiple samples.
A fixed bed is a solid catalyst carrier that carries out a chemical reaction by being immobilised in a reactor. A fixed bed evaluation device usually consists of a feed system, a reaction system, a control system, and a data acquisition system that can simulate operation under actual reaction conditions.
By using a fixed-bed evaluation device, researchers can compare the activity, selectivity, stability and regeneration performance of different catalysts, optimise the catalyst formulation and reaction conditions, and improve the efficiency of the catalyst and the quality of the products.
Cleaning steps of fixed bed evaluation device:
1. Cleaning process: rinse first, then disassemble the reactor for cleaning, reassemble after cleaning, then debugging.
2. Rinsing: The rinsing process should use cleaning water to rinse the reactor several times to remove the impurities and residues inside the reactor.
3. Disassemble the reactor: disassemble the reactor to facilitate the cleaning of internal components.
4. Cleaning: Use the cleaning agent to clean the internal parts of the reactor to remove the dirt and residues on the surface.
5. Re-assembly: After cleaning, the reactor is reassembled to ensure the correct installation and connection of each component.
6. Debugging: debug the reactor to ensure its normal operation and meet the expected performance indicators.
